Please attend our Saturday, March 10th GASLAND screening at Beczak Environmental Education Center in Yonkers at 35 Alexander Street.

We will begin the film at 7 PM followed by discussion led by RiverKeeper, a nonprofit organization deeply involved in saving our water, food, and air from the damages of fossil fuels. 

This film was nominated for an Academy Award and portrays the efforts of filmmaker Josh Fox to uncover the truth about natural gas drilling in his area.

The screening is hosted by RiverKeeper with Food and Water Watch

Also attend the Urban H20 Concert at Beczak on February 18th  http://urbanh2o.org/

There is a $ 10 cover for each event.</description>

Great article! Wonderful points about this unfortunately,very tempting carrot.
I wonder if you have seen the recent research from some scientists up here at Cornell that says that Hydro Fracking may not actually be cleaner from a Green House Gas perspective in the long run.  Here is an article http://www.news.cornell.edu/stories/April11/GasDrillingDirtier.html
